Alejandro Lakowsky is a cardiologist, graduated with Honorary Diploma from the School of Medicine of the National University of La Plata in Argentina.
He is passionate about cardiology and teaching, he also completed the Teaching Career in Health Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, where he obtained the degree of Assistant Professor of Medicine. To date, he participates in the Argentine Society of Cardiology, where he was Director of the Council of Clinical Cardiology, and reached the highest membership status of Full Member.
In 2010, he joined the pharmaceutical industry at AstraZeneca where he worked as MSL (Medical Science Liaison), Medical Educator, and Medical Advisor. He completed the Postgraduate Course in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management, and the Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management in the Pharmaceutical Industry, both at the University of Belgrano. In 2020, he joined Boehringer Ingelheim as Regional Medical Manager, where he is responsible for the area of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Angels Initiative, of which he is very proud for its non-for-profit scientific spirit and for allowing him to help many patients and their families with unmet care needs. Simultaneously, he continues his professional practice of cardiology at the Mater Dei Hospital.
Alejandro has 3 children and lives in Buenos Aires.
