Bahar received her Pharmacology degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia followed by a Master’s degree in Science with specialization in Biotechnology with focus on clinical research and different disease areas. During her studies she also volunteered in a number of healthcare institutions to obtain a more fundamental understanding of patient care and the significance of the impact it has on patients’ lives.
Prior to joining Angels, Bahar was a Medical Science Liaison for Diabetes in Gulf. She joined the Angels initiative in 2019 as Angels consultant for Iran, responsible for 7 of the main cities.
Being inspired by how Angels can give life a chance, Bahar believes that with optimized stroke care, patients can be given a second chance at life and she aims to improve access to stroke care and the quality of care in centers across Iran, to improve the quality of life and longevity of the patients.
