Lindy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Tasmania. With a strong interest in medical research, Lindy further specialised in Haematology and Blood Transfusion, holding a research position within the Coagulation Department at Westmead Hospital (Sydney) where she co-authored two publications in the assessment of laboratory testing for thrombophilia investigations and coagulation factors.
After working in the public and private healthcare sectors as a Senior Scientist, Lindy sought to expand her career and joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Medical Representative in 2014. Combining her scientific knowledge and her passion for making a difference in the lives of patients, Lindy has built a strong reputation for partnering with healthcare professionals.
For Lindy, pioneering the Angels Initiative in Australia is a tremendous privilege. Working in partnership with stroke teams who work tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes for their patients is extremely rewarding. Knowing that everything WE do together provides a second chance of life.
