The COVID-19 pandemic brought us to unprecedented circumstances that prompted each one to adapt to new ways of working, including the revision of stroke protocols. With the evolution of pathways, this lecture by Dr. Maria Cristina San Jose would like to emphasize the value of data gathering and quality monitoring to aid stroke teams to identify gaps and come up with process improvements.

During the two days she spent in Mainz, Germany, the future of stroke care in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe province came into focus.
