Module 7 describes and explains the key areas which have to be considered before, during, and after the transport of critically ill patients within and between hospitals.
 
After completing this module, you will:

  • understand the important role of precise and systematic preparations of a transfer
  • know how to perform a safe intra-hospital transport avoiding adverse events
  • know how to deal with device and physiological-related complications during the transport
  • know how to establish the features of a good transfer in daily practices
