Arturo received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL) in 2011. With over a decade of experience, he has built a solid clinical and administrative foundation by serving on the medical staff of several prestigious healthcare institutions nationwide. His career has been characterized by the development of critical skills in the planning, coordination, and supervision of operational processes within healthcare services.
In 2017, he made a strategic shift toward medical-administrative management by founding and leading a comprehensive medical network. This nationwide project successfully integrated hospitals, medical specialists, and healthcare providers, positioning him as a key link between administrative efficiency and excellence in medical practice.
His commitment to service led him to Merida, Yucatan, in 2023 to join the Mexican Navy (SEMAR). At this institution, he embraced a dual role of high responsibility: he actively participated in complex maritime rescue operations while simultaneously serving as part of the medical staff at the Hospital General Naval de Yucalpeten. During this period, he contributed significantly to the Neurology department, where he discovered a profound passion for the specialized management and treatment of stroke patients. Witnessing the critical nature of time-sensitive interventions in stroke care inspired him to seek ways to optimize these processes on a larger scale.
Thanks to his hybrid profile—which combines a strategic administrative vision with specialized clinical expertise—Arturo joined the Angels Initiative in 2026 as a Consultant for the southeastern region of Mexico. He is deeply motivated by the opportunity to standardize stroke care and improve treatment protocols across the region. For Arturo, joining Angels means more than a career move; it is a mission to ensure that every stroke patient, regardless of their location, has the best possible chance of recovery through timely and expert intervention.
