Brenda holds a medical degree from Sinaloa Autonomous University and Integrated Healthcare Specialist from the University of Guadalajara. She completed the training courses in diabetes education, chronic disease prevention, sports nutrition and pharmacovigilance. Recently, she was certified in Advanced Stroke Life Support.
She has gained experience in hospital environments during her medical residency at the West General Hospital located in Guadalajara city and working as an on-call doctor in some private hospitals. She also worked in Barcelona in the nutrition field.
She has served during the last decade as a Medical Consultant at the Pharmaceutical Industry. Her main activities have been:
- Training of health worker.
- Development and implementation of pharmacovigilance and techno-vigilance activities.
- Support in the regulatory process for the registration of drugs.
Currently, she works as Angels Team Leader in Mexico and she is dedicated to creating collaboration networks in public and private hospitals to optimize the care of stroke patients. Her main purpose is work every day to improve the quality of treatment for every stroke patient in Mexico.
