Candelaria is a physician specialized in Internal Medicine, Diabetes, and Nutrition, with more than fifteen years of combined experience in clinical practice and the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career, she has focused her professional development on improving quality of care, strengthening healthcare systems, and generating a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

She graduated as a physician from the National University of Córdoba, driven by a strong interest in clinical medicine and a comprehensive approach to patient care. She later completed her specialization in Internal Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, a Master’s degree in Diabetes at the University of Salvador, and a specialization in Nutrition at the Catholic University of Argentina. This training allowed her to develop a broad perspective on chronic and vascular diseases, as well as a strong commitment to applying scientific evidence in daily practice. She is currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare at the University of San Andrés, with a focus on management, strategy, and health policy.

For more than a decade, she worked as a staff physician in both public and private healthcare institutions in the City and Province of Buenos Aires, leading specialized clinics and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. This experience was key to understanding the real challenges of the healthcare system, particularly in the management of complex patients and time-sensitive acute conditions.

Since 2020, she has been developing her career in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, working as a Medical Science Liaison in cardio-renal-metabolic and vascular areas. In this role, she collaborates closely with healthcare professionals, patient associations, and public sector stakeholders, participating in clinical research and medical education initiatives.

Candelaria joined the Angels initiative because she strongly believe in its mission. Being part of Angels means supporting healthcare teams, strengthening care networks, and actively contributing to ensuring that more stroke patients receive timely, high-quality, evidence-based care. Her goal is to continue working toward transforming healthcare systems and improving clinical outcomes for patients.
