Darsheka holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nutrition from Malaysia’s International Medical University. She has close to a decade of experience in healthcare programme implementation, stakeholder engagement, and health education. She has worked across pharmaceutical, digital health, and community settings.
In her most recent role at a pharmaceutical company, she led a long-standing patient support programme, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen care delivery and improve outcomes for patients with non-communicable diseases.
Driven by a passion for community work, she also contributes to the non-governmental sector by supporting the design and implementation of health promotion initiatives focused on sustainable behaviour change among low-income communities, in partnership with various NGOs.
Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Malaya, she is committed to strengthening health systems and improving access to timely, quality stroke care through collaboration and continuous improvement under the Angels Initiative.
