Khadijah Rahim

Malaysia

Khadijah Rahim is a registered pharmacist with over five years of healthcare experience spanning clinical practice, programme implementation, and service improvement in Malaysia. She began her career with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, where she saw first-hand how effective care depends not only on clinical decisions, but also on well-coordinated healthcare teams and accessible services.

She later led healthcare programmes focused on improving medication access and continuity of care, including coordinating a national service supporting more than 6,100 chronic patients annually across Malaysia. These experiences strengthened her belief that sustainable improvements in patient outcomes come from stronger healthcare systems, empowered care teams, and practical solutions that work across different healthcare settings.

Khadijah joined the Angels Initiative to bring this experience into stroke care while learning from colleagues and best practices across the global Angels network. She hopes to contribute to stronger, more coordinated stroke systems and better access to timely, quality care when every minute matters.
