Lev Prystupiuk

Lev graduated with honours from Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine. During his studies he held internships at the University Hospital of Bari, Italy and the University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

As a part of the volunteer team, Lev provided medical care in remote rural areas of Ukraine, and provided medical care as part of an international medical group to victims of natural disasters (floods and typhoons) in the Philippines. He also regularly takes part in humanitarian projects for active detections of type 2 diabetes.

Following an internship at the Internal Medicine Department at Bogomolets National Medical University, he graduated with a second specialisation in endocrinology.

Lev also studied in China and at Oxford University, where he was awarded a Certificate of Research Governance and Good Clinical Practice. He has also been published in both international and Ukrainian journals.

Being an Angels Consultant allows Lev to call on his PhD thesis topic: ‘The role of active detection for type 2 diabetes mellitus in the prevention of lesions of the cardiovascular system’
