Documentary Of FASTHEROES Campaign In Southern Brazil

The Indonesian province of Nusa Tenggara Timur rewrote the script for World Stroke Day celebrations last November.

Amazing teachers, committed children, adult advocates, and engaged grandparents inspired the FAST Heroes community when they were named award winners at the FAST Heroes Summit in Bratislava at the end of June. These winners may not be doctors or nurses, many of them are years away from being old enough to drive . . . but they're all on a mission to save lives.

Stroke survivors are our teachers. From them we learn what courage looks like outside the hospital doors. They show us when we succeed and when the system fails, and they remind us why this community matters.
