About this training
The major aim of post-acute care is on reducing the risk of mortality by focusing on respiratory and cardiac complications as well as preventing recurring stroke. This 60-minutes course has been developed to deepen your knowledge on management of complications in the post-acute phase as well as the organization and pre-requisites of a well-functioning stroke unit. We also highlight the “Arrow project”, an intervention to remove variability in the post-acute phase of stroke. The course includes expert videos, short quizzes, and a certificate upon completion.
Course Objective
At the conclusion of this course, you will be proficient in controlling complications after the initial stroke in the post-acute phase and understand stroke unit set-up and management.
