About this training
Welcome to "4 Steps to Treatment Decision", an interactive video course designed to improve the quality and consistency of treatment decisions in the hyperacute phase of stroke care. This course is based on the decision-making workshop at the Angels Initiative Train the Trainer workshop, and features insights from Angels Team Lead Rita Rodrigues and Dr Francisco Moniche from Spain.
Course Objective:
The primary objective of this course is to ensure that patients receive appropriate therapy by standardizing the hyperacute treatment decision-making process. By the end of this course, you will be proficient in using a 4-step approach to make informed treatment decisions quickly and accurately.
Course Structure:
This course consists of an interactive video that guides you through the 4 steps to standardize the hyperacute treatment decision-making process:
• Diagnosis
• Exclude bleeding
• Severity assessment
• Contraindications to treatment
The tools in this section include presentations, checklists, and online patient simulations to reinforce these steps.
Course duration:
The eLearning course is designed to be completed in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
