Welcome to "Optimising the Hyperacute Pathway", an interactive video course designed to help healthcare professionals eliminate treatment delays in the hyperacute phase of stroke care. This course is based on the hyperacute workshop session featuring Claudia Queiroga, former Angels Team Lead, and Thomas Fischer, co-founder of the Angels Initiative.
Course Objective:
The primary objective of this course is to demonstrate how to reduce Door-to-Needle (DTN) time by implementing four key actions: pre-notification, direct to CT, point-of-care (POC) testing, and treatment at CT. The importance of Quality Monitoring in the hyperacute phase is also addressed. By the end of this course, you will be equipped with practical strategies to optimize the stroke pathway and improve patient outcomes.
