We are proud to announce that Angels Initiative have won the PMEA 2019 award for Excellence in Healthcare Professional Education and Support Programmes!

First started in the year 2000, PMEA aims to recognize the achievements of responsible practices that provide patients with meaningful outcomes. This year saw its highest number of entries yet, with the largest range of companies entering the competition in almost two decades.

The Excellence in Healthcare Professional Education and Support Programmes category recognizes initiatives that have made a significant and measurable difference to physicians or healthcare professionals and, in turn, led to enhanced patient healthcare.

According to the PMEA judges, “The Angels Initiative had a major impact on saving lives. It had great awareness and training and did exceptionally well in terms of quality of execution with ambitious SMART objectives. It had outstanding stakeholder verdicts and the judges thought the European research was exceptional. It had clear objectives and strategy, was very ambitious and had a fantastic mix of initiatives.”

On behalf of more than 140 Angels Consultants in more than 40 countries, we would like to dedicate this award to our partners and communities for constantly helping us improve the project and reach further heights – including the European Stroke Organisation (ESO), the World Stroke Organisation (WSO), the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE), RESQ, QASC Europe, Medtronic, Brainomix and many other institutions and societies from all over the globe dedicated to improving stroke care.
