All roads led to Barcelona last week - the setting for the 17th World Stroke Congress. The Angels booth was buzzing, the awards ceremony brought a lump to our throats, a performance of the FAST Heroes song put a smile on every face, and the first-ever WSC escape room provided a unique, interactive educational activity that brought out the competitive spirit in congress attendees.
Every Angels first begins the same way, writes Angels project lead Jan van der Merwe in his introduction to the September issue of The Angels Journey. "It is the moment when someone decides to do something that has never been done before in their hospital, their city, their region, or even their country."
