New Consultants Training

Resources for a standardised new consultants experience. Includes an introduction to the Angels model, key information about stroke and stroke treatment, the new consultants certificate and credo, and branded items to welcome new consultants to the Angels team. When you have a new consultant joining, as a first step, please contact the Angels Core Team (angelscoreteam@iqvia.com).

Onboarding process (suggested timeline):
- Week 1/2: Welcome, company specific onboarding and shadowing
- Week 3: New Consultants Pathway - Online training with final exam
- Week 4: F2F Meeting with Team Leader and Regional Planning
- New Consultant Graduation Ceremony with Angels Core Team and Team Lead

This New Angels Consultant Training booklet has been created to give an overview of the new consultants onboarding process. The document has been designed to give guidance for new consultants and team leaders.

New Consultant Pathway - Online training

This programme has been developed as a mandatory training course for new Angels consultants, and as a refresher course for experienced consultants. It consists of 13 chapters, each with relevant modules and activities. The chapters are
aligned with the four phases following the onset of stroke and the five Angels project platforms. The total course duration is approximately 25 hours.

The New Consultants Pathway is a private course on the Angels Website. Every new consultant will receive the access link directly from the Angels Core Team once access has been granted. All team leads have also been added to the course for reference. If any further access is needed, please reach out the Angels Core Team (angelscoreteam@iqvia.com).

New Angels Consultant Onboarding: Print materials for training day

Angels Impact Bookmark - Handed to consultants in Ecuador

Bookmark printed on both sides. Front: Short text describing the lottery that determines outcomes for stroke patients, with a summary of factors that need to be present in order for them to receive the correct treatment. With country/region-specific text that states the number of patients each consultant can save through their actions. Back: List of goals for each Angels Initiative member –  1 Appropriate geographical coverage. 2 Minimum standard (gold status) and target (platinum status) for each hospital. 3 Grow people in your community. 4 Build and develop an efficient and regional referral network.

New Consultants Certificate & Credo

Certificate of Registration to celebrate and welcome the new consultant who has completed their training as an official Angels team member. It contains the Angels Initiative Charter and will be handed over to the new consultants by the team leads during the graduation ceremony.

Wing Pin

Wing-shaped Angels pin that we recommend consultants wear on their blazer whenever they visit hospitals or attend conferences. It can also be handed out to HCPs who truly embrace the Angels spirit.
